Client: Medium Sized Engineering Services Company
Problem: Our client services mainly Oil and Gas and Mining companies in Austalia and South East Asia. As the South East Asian Oil and Gas market grew, the company's partners were concerned about how they could grow with the market whilst minising the risk of failure.
Solution: The starting point was defining and getting alignment on the firm's competitive model. This provided strategic focus, which enabled the operating model to be developed and implemented. The resulting organisational design called for rapid and reliable recruitment, and development of leadership capability throughout the company. Finally, to sustain key accounts, customer relationship management skills and processes were improved.
Outcome: The company grew its workforce from 25 to nearly 100 people in less than 2 years; key accounts were secured and revenue was increased by 160%. The company won a 2009 WA Rising Stars Award for its sustained growth.
